Hello to all the AROMA rice cooker owners, this rice cooker cooks rice, stews, fries, steams, you just name it and this AROMA rice cooker can cook it. I have owned one for about four years now and I am looking to purchase one to have on reserve (not that it's gonna die any time now) but just to be prepared. One of the best features of this AROMA rice cooker is that it has a handle, so you can take it with you to the beach or a picnic. It's a shame it's not available.

We got this cooker few months back and we never had any problems with this. This is the same cooker we bought 3 years back and it worked perfectly fine till it stopped working one fine day. A good one !! A little costly though.
Great for brown rice August 23, 2006

We eat quite a bit of brown rice and this particular appliance occupies a prominent place on our kitchen counter. This cooker can cook more than just brown rice, but we use it almost exclusively for that. The pressure style of this cooker cooks several cups of brown rice in 20 minutes and then keeps it warm. We haven't had any problems with it. We learned exactly how much water to use for the type of rice we use and we can count on it every time. We picked it up at Costco and have used it for a year. Money well spent on a kitchen appliance.
