I love this rice maker,it does everything that Aroma claims to do.
I will recommend it to those people that can burn water...This cooker is for dummies.

I don't like giving a product a 5 star rating because so few deserve it, but this rice cooker is the exception to the rule. This cooker looks and feels like a premium product, and more importantly, it makes the best rice you can imagine. So simple to operate, easy to clean, and it even makes store-brand rice edible (just use a little less water)! It helps healthy cooking to be easier and more enjoyable. Although a rice cooker, this machine can do anything a crockpot can and more such as steam vegetables. This machine has the footprint of a toaster so it doesn't take up much counter space and in fact I enjoy having it out on display. This is an outstanding product at an outstanding price considering what the other premium rice cookers go for. The only problem I foresee is that after having the rice from this cooker that I will be 'ruined' for rice elsewhere for life!

This is one of the greatest items to have in your kitchen, it's light, cooks fast, takes up little room and easy to clean.
The best part is the food, quick, healthy, and very tasty. It helps us eat right and stay on a reduced calorie diet.

i received this 3 days ago and i've made rice & beans twice already. first time was brown rice with chili beans, chili powder, cumin powder, and salt. it came out fantastic. second time, today, i made basmati rice and pinto beans with chili's and this time only salt as a seasoning. the rice was done perfectly, fluffy, soft, and delicious. lol and it's fast, and easy, too!! look i'm a single, 48 y/o man and this thing is perfect. next i'm going to try it as a slow cooker. i'm very happy, nice job aroma.
