Good substitute for wheat pasta April 18, 2008

I am pleased withthis product. I follow the diections for cooking written on the box and am pleased with the outcome. I must say, however, that the shipping did leave one box of noodles in pieces. I do not know whose fault this was, but it wouldn't keep me from using them, nor re-ordering when I run out.

Tinkyada brown rice lasagne is a bit delicate to work with, but well worth the effort. It is important not to over cook the noodles. The taste and texture are excellent and no one would ever know they were eating gluten free lasagne. A wonderful product for those with Celiac disease and their non Celiac family members.

I have tried every brand of GF pasta I can find -- stuff made from corn, rice, quinoa, you name it -- and it all has a funky aftertaste, cooks up poorly, and falls apart if reheated. NOT TINKYADA!! :-) This stuff ROCKS! My hubby is super picky and not GF, but HE LOVES TINKYADA. When I serve it to my gluten-eating friends and family, they take a bite and say, "oh, too bad you can't eat this..." SURPRISE! GF doesn't have to mean icky-tasting! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) More great stuff from Tinkyada you can get here (and prices here beat the other online GF grocers as of 3/2008):

This is simply great lasagna. I don't need gluten free, but my wife does, so I've tried both types and this one holds up very well to the w/gluten pasta.

Excellent lasagne! I cook for 13 minutes then immediately cool down. Handle gently but not a problem for me to piece together to make a great lasagne! A wonderful gluten free product.
