amazing May 8, 2008 Doris J. Pope When I was diagnosed with celiac disease I stopped eating bread because it tasted so bad. My friend Lois shared the bread with me and it tasted like real bread and it was soft. At first they were out of pamelas and I tried a different brand but it wasnt so good. I started getting it every 2 months but Iate it so quickly I get it every month. I am anxiously waiting for the shipment to come because I am out of the bread.
Great bread! April 28, 2008 L. Etherton I used this in my Breadman machine on the rapid white cycle and it came out great. It made a nicely shaped loaf, tasted good, and stayed soft.
Gluten-Soy-Dairy-Egg free goodies! April 28, 2008 Sulliandi (Socorro, NM United States) I am currently on a gluten-soy-dairy-egg free restrictive diet for various health reasons. Of course, most foods you find with these free things have a lot to be desired as far as being tasteful. So, in efforts of finding something to curb a sweet and chocolate craving, I made cupcakes with Pamela's Chocolate Cake Mix. I simply used one of the recipes on the side of the bag and used an egg replacement. They were wonderful! My boyfriend even liked them and he has not been fond of anything I've been eating in this restrictive diet state. I highly encourage trying this cake mix for chocolate cravings and sweet indulgence while on a restrictive diet.
like eating real bread again April 27, 2008 Jean (North Carolina) This is the best wheat-free bread mix I've used. The bread comes out great and can be used for toast and sandwiches. I make it in my bread machine on the wheat bread setting and it comes out perfect. I use egg whites instead of whole eggs and soy milk for most of the water and it is soft and rich tasting!
yummy easy bagels and pizza April 24, 2008 trish This mix makes yummy bread, and is easy to do. You have to give it time to rise, and grease your hands to work the dough, but the results are very good, not at all like the dry rice bread we bought from the store.
