I grew up with buckwheat since I am from Russia and its a staple food there.This type is delicious and cooks really fast.my daughters 8 and 5 years old really enjoy it with a little butter, milk, and a spoon of maple sugar.I just want to warn people with allergies to be extra careful.i gave it to my 2 year old son to try.He had only one tablespoon,but had a severe allergic reaction.Swelling and difficulty breathing

I'm not a great fan of regular buckwheat but I use it because my daughter is on a gluten-free diet. I tried this creamy buckwheat cereal just recently and I love it. It tastes better and has more of an oatmeal consistency than regular buckwheat.
