My first bread maker, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I have sure enjoyed this bread maker. Like everyone else, I bought it because of its size and my limited counter space. It fits very nicely on my counter, and is very quiet when operating. We have tried many of the breads in the cookbook that came with it and have loved all of them. I don't think I could ever go back to store-bought bread. For those of you who have never had a bread maker (like me)- making bread is extremely easy. It takes about 5 minutes to measure carefully and put the ingredients in the pan and that is it! One loaf of bread lasts us (3 people) about 1 1/2 days - it makes about 8 slices of bread. But it is so easy to make, and tastes so wonderful when fresh. I HIGHLY recommend this bread maker.

My wife baked our own bread for over 25 years and when she could no longer do it I took over. I then baked for the next 25 years and I grow to weak to handle a six loaf batch that I make. So we bought a breadmaker. I kick myself now for wasted years where I would simply dropped in a few ingredients and had fresh bread quickly and easily. The machine does and good job if one follows the recipe.

I've never owned a breadmaker before, but after reading a lot of reviews I settled on this model. Zojirushi is a brand that I trust, having owned a few of their products over the years. I've now had the mini breadmaker for a few weeks and made 5 loaves of bread with it, and I couldn't be happier. All of the breads I've made have been from recipes in the book, but every one of them has been great! And the loaf size really is perfect for one or two people.
I've been making extensive use of the timer and either waking up, or coming home to freshly baked bread. I can't imagine needing to buy bread anymore, and a recipe for buns is included as well, so no more buying 8 buns when I only need 2 or 3 (and left over dough can be frozen for next time).
There are only a couple of negatives that I can see with this machine. First, there is no sourdough recipe included, whereas the 2 lb version does offer one. On a similar note All of the additional recipes on Zojirushi's website are also only for the 2 lb model. I'm sure more recipes will be available over time for the mini though, and even though the 2 lb model is only a few dollars more I would still buy this model for the smaller loaf size.

When I told my husband that I wanted to get this breakmaker he said that I was crazy. He thought it was way too expensive and he said that it was way too small. Well, we received it yesterday and I have made two different breads already. It's so easy, you just pour all the ingredients on the bowl in order listed and push a couple of buttons and done. Just wait for the delicious bread. My husband loved the bread and begged me to make another one today. This is a perfect size for us and the 1 lb loaf is so cute and is really way better than the store bought bread. I have done extensive research before buying this one and have read someone complaining about the hole on the bottom of the bread, which for our opinion is not a big deal. We still eat the whole entire bread and they have great texture and taste great. The instructions included are very clear and easy to understand. The blade does get stuck after I remove the bread, which came out very easy, but after the bowl has cooled I just fill it up with water and leave for like 15 min and voila! Its non stick pan is very easy to clean. Now I can't wait to try other recipes and also try the cake, jam, cookies and pasta. We are really very happy with this purchase. And it fits on our overcrowded countertop! We love it and highly recommend this breadmachine to everyone!

I don't buy bread anymore; I make a loaf every other day with this thing. It's easy to clean, easy to set up, and it makes delicious bread. I live in a small apartment and this device is a godsend. I wish I had one of these in college.
