Providing myriad options, this automatic bread maker embodies the marvels of 21st century electronic convenience and choice. Yes, it mixes, kneads, rises, and bakes bread in three loaf sizes up to 2-1/2 pounds. But its digital controls go much further, offering settings for white, whole wheat, multigrain, and French (crisp crust, open texture) breads, each made according to what's best for that particular style. Other settings permit rapid baking and baking sandwich bread with a soft crust. For raisin (or other dried-fruit) bread, a beeper signals when to add the fruit so it's not crushed during kneading. Crust color--dark or light--can be selected as well. The machine automatically adds yeast at the proper time from a dispenser on the unit's lid. It also bakes non-yeast, quick breads-- like banana and gingerbread--and sweet cakes. And it mixes, kneads, and rises doughs for pizza, focaccia, croissants, and other pastries without baking them. A timer permits the machine to be programmed up to 13 hours in advance so fresh bread or cake is available for breakfast or dinner. For cleanup convenience, the baking pan is nonstick. I am so glad that I purchased this bread maker. We bake bread for ourselves, our family and friends. The bread tastes so good that we no longer buy bread from the bakery and now that prices are rising, it is also very economical. It is really a great product!!

A nice work from Panasonic for allowing people who is more concern about health and ingredients in the food we eat daily to create bread of their own. Strong neading power to make the dough and therefore a nice bread later on. Yeast dispenser creates a model for engineer in bread machine to think and design a popular working machine.

I recived this bread maker for mother's day. It is very outstanding!
Bread maker need some of weight because set on the counter top to avoid moving and falls down from counter top.
This unit has perfect weight to hold still on the counter top so it is safe away from small children.
very quick to finish basic bake with white bread was only 4 hours.
cooking very quietly and smoothly done. It was perfect bread after 4 hours. Even first time user easy to read/understand instruction.
Timer are very useful set up at night and wake up morning with freash home made bread!
I was first time user and perfect beard I made! My whole family love home made bread maker. It's smells like happiness during baking a bread.

We chose this bread maker because my mother has one and loves it. We have never owned a bread maker, and so the five stars are not based on any sort of comparison. That said, for first time bread maker users this is quite easy to use. The instruction manual provides many excellent recipes, the French bread is our favorite, and once you learn the right proportions for each setting, you can get creative. Whole wheat and multigrain breads are definitely a little trickier to get right, but I do not believe this is an issue with this bread maker, but with making whole grain breads in general. We have begun experimenting with our favorite bread recipes, and as long as we get the moisture to flour ratio right for the size setting, this bread maker bakes wonderful loaves.

This unit is easy to use. Even I have made seven grain bread and cranberry bread. I wouldn't go near the oven to make bread but this machine makes the process so simple. Highly recommend.
