Small but great quality May 27, 2008

The quality and beauty of this cutting board is evident the minute you see it and I love how thick and sturdy it is. My only complaint is that it is rather small and even cutting up something like a zucchini you have the room to cut it only if you remove the chopped up parts as you go. This can be easily helped by keeping a plate or piece of plastic at the end to dump what you've chopped onto it and then transfer from there but it does require a little thought on that end unless you are just doing something small like garlic or fruit. Still the bamboo is amazing and makes for a much sturdier and stronger cutting board than my previous plain wooden ones. I will definitely get a larger bamboo butcher block to use alongside this one.
